Carlos DeLaRosa, OD was born in Santo Domingo and immigrated to New York City with his family in the late 1960’s.  He received his Bachelors Degree in Biology from the University of South Florida.  He then received his Doctorate in Optometry from The State University of New York in 1994.  Dr. DeLaRosa is currently Chief of Optometric services at Buena Vista Vision Center where he specializes in Comprehensive Optometry. Additionally, he brings 10 years of experience as Chief of Nursing Home Services for Glassman Eye associates where he treats and identifies complicated eye conditions of elderly patients including Glaucoma, Cataracts, and disease of the retina.  Dr. DelaRosa is available for consultation for general eye examination, & specialty contact lens fitting. 


Leslie Gordon, MD was born in New York City. She received her Bachelors Degree with Honors from Howard University. She then received a full academic scholarship to attend New York Medical College. She completed her Medical Degree and training in Ophthalmology at New York Medical College in 2003.  Dr. Gordon then spent a few months in India providing small incision cataract surgery to persons in need. She is currently the lead cataract surgeon at Harlem Hospital Center, Columbia University.  Additionally, she is an Assistant Clinical Attending at Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center where she supervises and instructs Ophthalmologists in training.  She is available at Buena Vista Vision Center for medical consultation concerning primary eye care and diseases for the Eye.
